MHS SCHEDULING PRESENTATION
MHS School Counselors are beginning the process of scheduling courses for the 2026-2027 school year. Please pay close attention to the Indiana Graduation requirements in the MHS Curriculum Guide when selecting your courses. There are different graduation requirements depending on your students’ grade level. The Class of 2029 should follow the New Indiana Diploma requirements and the Classes of 2027 & 2028 should follow the Core 40 and Honors Diploma with Graduation Pathways requirements.
Many scheduling resources are linked below to assist with the process of choosing the correct classes to meet the students’ graduation requirements and prepare for their post-secondary goals. The MHS Curriculum Guide, contains the diploma requirements, all course descriptions, options to complete pathways, Area 31 programs, as well as options to take Advanced Placement and/or Dual Credit courses. Check out the one-page MHS Course List with a comprehensive list of all courses. Finally, each student will complete their next year’s grade level specific MHS Scheduling Google Form listed below with a parent by Monday, January 12, 2026! School Counselors will begin meeting with all students individually to confirm schedule requests after the google form is complete beginning in January through March. We will help ensure they are meeting graduation requirements!
We encourage your student to read all of the instructions within the google form to properly enter course requests. There is an entry in the google form towards the end where they must enter a parent name to verify that they have discussed their course selections with a parent. A copy of the student’s course selections can be sent to the email they provide in the google form when it is completed. Please attempt to enter your course requests! If changes need to be made after the form is submitted, those will happen when you meet with your counselor during your scheduled meeting.
